Movecat is bringing a wealth of new products in the fields of control, load measuring, chain hoists and services to this year’s Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt. “The increasing demands of today’s stage and show productions in terms of networking, flexibility and safety in the field of kinetics have really challenged our engineers,” reports Andrew Abele, the company’s CEO. “We are presenting the results of these engineering processes at our booth, Stand D84 in Hall 9, and are already looking forward to hearing the opinions of planners and users.”
On show in the field of load measuring are among other products the LoCo R3 load measuring controller with analogue, digital and wireless inputs, a 4.3” touchscreen and web server functions as well as the only integrated load-measuring system for combined single- and dual-chain-fall operation without loss of installation height: the LME-DUO. Rounding off the range of new products in this segment is the LoCo LCS-AX, a load-measuring shackle with a competitive price-performance ratio.
Among the chain hoists, Movecat scores with its X2 technology, which adds operation limit functions to the 400 V direct control D8 and D8 Plus chain hoists without requiring an additional control cable.
In the controller product segment, Movecat will be showing in the I-Motion Basic-C at the Frankfurt trade fair the ‘little’ brother of the Expert-T II console. Special feature: The controller is already equipped with a full backup function. In addition, Movecat will be presenting product updates for the I-Motion network and providing insights into the further development of network functionalities.
TKS Project Support is the name of a service component from Movecat bringing together services and engineering in the implementation of turn-key solutions. Here the emphasis is upon the presentation of current practical examples.
